Annika Brandt from Vedum, Sweden, started writing poems and short stories as a child. The debut novel ”Den lilla lanthandeln i Vidsunda”, takes place in a cozy feelgood environment, but based on her own experiences, Annika shows at the same time the sometimes tough conditions for businesses in rural areas.

Annika studied "Creative writing" at The Linné University in Växjö, Sweden, and today she organizes writing courses in collaboration with the well-known Swedish author Dag Öhrlund.

Annika is also the treasurer of The Academy of Fårö, an association of Swedish writers who work to promote Swedish literature and creative writing processes through meetings between writers.

Starting with the novel ”The” Holiday Princess” she publishes her books on her own publishing house.
